budget and cash flow…

The majority of our clients are independent businesses – just like ourselves – so we understand that budget and cash flow matters.

Rather than asking clients to compromise on the website they need, we offer flexible payment options that make investing in a high-quality website more manageable. It’s one of the ways we support independent businesses and help them build a strong online presence with confidence.

We offer flexible payment options because we value long-term relationships with our clients. Our payment options reflect how we like to work—with flexibility, transparency and an understanding of the realities of running a small business.

Some clients prefer the “traditional” way of dealing with the cost of a website/design project – a 50% deposit and the 50% balance being paid prior to the launch of the website or delivery of print materials. Some clients can more easily budget for this, and so this is always an option we offer.

However, some clients are real start-ups. They have a vision and an idea, but not the capital behind them at this early stage. They may only have savings, or a small loan – definitely not enough to commit to a hefty initial outlay. And when I say “hefty” I don’t mean thousands of pounds. If you’re just starting out, “hefty” can mean a couple of hundred. But, without a website and an online presence, you’re already on the back foot, giving your competitors an advantage.

And we don’t think that a vision, a dream, should be curtailed by the finances you currently have at your disposal.

So, in instances like this, we discuss this with you, our client. Perhaps a smaller deposit, with a larger balance, giving you the reassurance of knowing that we are working on your project, but also knowing that you have more time to pay the balance. (Once we have established a relationship based on trust – which we always do with clients – we are more than happy to put a website live, before the final balance is paid, because we know you won’t let us down). We can also offer payments in sensible tranches, again giving you breathing space.

So, do we sound like the kind of people you would like to collaborate with? The kind of people who understand how a budget should not derail your design dreams? Who will become your trusted friends and allies, as you begin to build up your business? If so, get in touch. This one contact may be the one that gets your vision off the ground…
